Graduating from Purdue University in 1974 with a BS in Industrial Management and a Commission as a Regular Officer in the United States Navy he qualified as a Supply Officer in Submarines, the “Fast Attack” Submarine, USS PHILADELPHIA (SSN-690). He raced 33,000 miles around the World (west about, through the Antarctic) in the 1996/1997 BT Global Challenge.

Ashore, Bransom went into Commercial and Industrial Real Estate, first as a broker and then as President of a Real Estate development company the USA and Canada.

He moved to the Isle of Man to set up a property trouble shooting division of a British Financial Institution operating in the British Isles, Europe and Africa.

Building on these experiences he became Marketing Director for an International Firm providing Legal Consulting, Trust and Asset Management Services before establishing Fine Focus.
