What is an Executive Coach?Business Coaching, much more than just consulting IS EXECUTIVE COACHING
An Executive Coach works one-to-one with executive leaders of organisations or businesses who are managing problems or situations which they are finding challenging. The focus of the coaching is on enhancing the client's performance or development within the organisation but with the client's personal future and interests in mind. Like any coach, an Executive Coach helps clients develop their own best solutions by asking questions as opposed to giving the client advice. The relationship is goal-oriented but motivational, helping executive leaders make behavioral changes that will not only transform themselves but also the people around them thus improving the results of the organisation or business. It is most effective when the client does not need direction on how to perform their role. An Executive Coach helps the client create a personal development plan, often using 360 degree appraisal and can include involvement of colleagues, superiors, or specialist trainers coordinated by the Executive Coach with the prior permission of the client.
