He
joined Phillips Electrical then went on to ITT and Charterhouse,
becoming Managing Director of the then struggling Edmundson
Electrical Company. As a result of his efforts and those of
his team, the company is now the largest of its kind in the
UK. In recognition
of his achievements he was co-opted onto the Industrial Policy
Committee of the CBI. |
